What I’m Cooking
I forgot about these Breakfast Sliders we used to make in classes until my daughter requested them for Christmas morning. I shared the recipe in an Instagram post and there’s a PDF version below. I typically make sour cream coffee cake for Christmas breakfast, a bagel bar and indulgent, creamy, soft scrambled eggs with chives. This year, I plan to make the Quiche Lorraine recipe I teach in my Basics series, but I’ll assemble it the day before. You could cook it a few days ahead and then rewarm it, covered with foil, in a 250-degree oven.
What I’m Reading
My brain is tired, and I haven't been able to read much. Does that happen to you? I go through weeks of blazing through books and then can't crack a page. Next up in my Kindle library is The Night We Lost Him by Laura Dave. It might not happen until I'm on a plane later this month!
What I’m Coveting
Hopefully, this isn't a spoiler for my oldest daughter, but she is as obsessed with coffee as I am. I got her this inexpensive Instant Pot Milk Frother, which she can use for matcha lattes and cappuccinos.
