Welcome to Friday Favorites! I can’t wait to share this week’s scoop. This is a *very quick* glimpse of my week that goes out to all subscribers. I’ll include a fan-favorite recipe we made in a cooking class, something I’m watching, reading, or listening to, a recent find, and a “win for the week.

What I’m Cooking

I'm making this quick today because everyone's inbox is surely flooded with Black Friday deals. If you're looking for ways to transform your turkey leftovers, may I suggest shredding them and using them in an Enchilada Casserole (substitute the chicken with turkey) or Leftover Turkey Vegetable Soup?

What I’m Watching

I've been watching Landman and it's such a fun escape, but I can't help but wonder what my friends in Midland think about it. Pipe in if you have an opinion. When we bought our farm outside of Round Top, Texas, we worked with a landman to negotiate the mineral rights to the property. In that process, we learned more than we ever knew possible about oil leases, mineral rights, and the value of every layer of agricultural land. We got really lucky, but some leases can last hundreds of years with unsightly drilling pads ending up on your property whether you want them or not. Anyway! If you're looking for some couch time and a great show, I'd suggest a watch.

This Week’s Win

There’s so much to be grateful for—my most significant gratitude is having all my kids in one spot away from the distractions of friends (sorry, but I don’t want to share them). I’m also thankful for all of YOU and for your support and presence here. I appreciate you more than you know!
