Recipes for the best summer dinner party!
What I'm teaching in my online cooking class for member's next week. I'd love to have you join Smart in the Kitchen School.
Some of you may not realize that my main business isn’t writing this Substack newsletter or sharing recipes and content on Instagram, it’s owning a cooking school. One of my favorite things about my school is the no-fuss online cooking classes I teach every month. My members are from all over the country. If they can’t make it to the Zoom class live, they can watch the recording I share afterwards, which is available in email, on our password-protected website and our school app available in the Apple store. Smart in the Kitchen School is a passion project that I started during Covid and it’s been going strong ever since.
Every month, the menu and theme are different, and I’m excited about our class next week to kick off summer: Summer Dinner Party Menus! If you've been curious about joining my Smart In The Kitchen School online monthly cooking classes, now is the time to join us! I sent my members two different summer dinner party menus (one was vegetarian) as well as a long list of bonus recipes and ideas. They receive at least a dozen new recipes every month.
During the class, you’ll learn how to pull off a stress-free summer get-together. We typically make 3-4 recipes in every online member class, but this menu is so simple that I decided to throw caution (and my students’ attention spans) to the wind. This is the month to join if you’ve been considering it! Get ready to whip up:
Appetizers:
Melon, Prosciutto and Mozzarella Skewers with Basil and a Hot Honey Drizzle
Pan-Seared Shishitos with Everything Bagel Seasoning
Main Attraction:
Grilled Ribeye Kabobs
Chimichurri
Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes
Basmati Rice
Dessert:
Stone Fruit Parfaits with Meringue Cookie Crumble
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 10th at 12:00 PM CST and join us live! Invite friends over for a late lunch or an early dinner while you're at it!! Most students watch the class and take notes, then make the recipes later. Once you join the school, you'll receive these recipes and several other "bonus recipes" in our monthly email.
Not able to make it live? No worries—once you join the online cooking school, you'll receive a recording via email so you can watch it at any time. Plus, the class and recipes will be saved to the member site and our app for easy access later.
