Let’s talk. I’d love to hear what you’d like to see from my Substack. Below is a breakdown of what I have planned moving forward. If you have specific suggestions, requests, likes or dislikes, or an idea of what would truly help you out, please let me know.
Here’s the Plan!
One cooking class recipe per week. I will share a recipe that has been a “fan favorite” from a recent cooking class. First up, I’m sending my baked chicken meatballs (with cottage cheese as the sleeper ingredient). We made these in my online cooking class Monday night. They are delicious, fast, healthy, freeze well and tick all the boxes. Recipes will be for paid subscribers only. Developing recipes, writing a worthwhile post, and taking photographs takes a lot of work, energy, and time. I hope you all understand! All recipes will be added to a recipe index. Occasional recipes will be shared with all subscribers.
Tuesday cooking tips. Or knife skills. Or ingredient tips. Or kitchen equipment tips. Do you want or need this? I share so many cooking tips on Instagram that I thought this would be a good place to unpack them and expand. Consider it a mini cooking class. These posts will be free for all subscribers. Yay!!!
Friday favorites. Beginning in October, my Friday Favorites newsletter will be moved to Substack. It currently gets sent to my online cooking school subscribers, but I’ve let them know it’s moving here! Free for all subscribers. Yay again!
Travel posts! My guilty favorite. These are a bonus item for paid subscribers. I will also share all of these to a travel index. Don’t miss my London Guide, Paris recap and my carry-on packing guide.
Cooking Classes!
FREE occasional cooking classes. First up, Smarty Pants Thanksgiving Cooking Class (gobble gobble!) on Zoom. For paid subscribers only. Get my favorite Thanksgiving recipes, my family’s menu, organization tips and time with yours truly. All paid subscribers will be invited and receive the recipes and Zoom link. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 14 at 4 pm CST.
That’s all for now. Let me know your thoughts. Substack will be where I spend most of my writing time and I hope you’ll hang out with me here.
